Our Mission

At Equippers Church, our ministry to children is a top priority. Jesus gave us a mission when He said, "Let the children come to me!" (Matthew 19:4). Children mattered to God, so they matter to us.  

We are showcasing this with weekly Sunday kids' services, Family Night classes, and regular family events/outreaches. Your child will receive our utmost attention and care as we do our very best to present Christ to them in a way that they can understand.

At Equippers Church, our kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a fun, creative, and relevant way.

eKids Ministry Schedule

The eKids Ministry Schedule offers engaging programs and classes for children from 6 weeks to 5th grade, helping them grow in faith and community.

Full children's church for kids ages 6 weeks to 5th grade. 

Family Nights

6:30 PM

Children's classes for all ages occur September through May. We break during the summer.

Your First Visit

When you first arrive at our facility, you will be greeted in the foyer by a friendly hospitality team member located at our Welcome Center. Let them know you want your children to be part of our Kids Church services. They will then direct you to our safe and secure children’s ministry area.

You can also enter via the stairs through the double doors labeled Children's Entrance. Here, our friendly HA! Kids team members will assist you with registering and checking your child in for the service.

At check-in, both you and your child will receive a temporary tag and a security slip that must be presented to check out your child at the conclusion of the worship services. When you return the following week, your child will already be in our computer system and ready to check in through our iPad station.

  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child

Once your child is properly checked in, one of our friendly volunteers will guide them to their age-appropriate class. At pick-up, you will present your security tag, and your child will be brought to you.

We have four classes available during our services:

  • Nursery: Age 6 weeks to 1 year
  • Toddlers: Ages 2 & 3
  • Jr. Kids: Ages 4 & 5
  • Kids Church: 1st grade through 5th grade

Once your child joins Kids Church, they will meet new friends, enjoy engaging Bible lessons with video elements, sing songs, play games, and have plenty of FUN! Most importantly, your child will have the opportunity to experience God at their level.

It’s one thing to teach children about God, but when your child connects with Jesus and the presence of God, their life will be forever changed. This is our goal each and every week!

Before Service: You can check your child in at any available kiosk in the Kids Ministry Center. You should have no trouble locating it, but if you do, don't worry, we have lots of helpful people to get you where you need to be. After finding your child's name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child must wear the name tag portion while you hold onto the matching tag. 

After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to the check in desk and provide your security tag. Your child will be brought back to you.  

During Service: If we need to contact you during the service, one of our children's ministry workers will locate you.
