6 Ways We Help

Here are six meaningful ways we support and strengthen marriages and families in our community.

Equippers Church pre-marital coaching covers foundational topics such as family planning, finances, conflict resolution, personality traits, different communication styles, the defining of our expectations, and deepest longings.  

Pre-marital coaching is required for all engaged couples who want to be married at Equippers Church. If you attend Equippers Church as your home church, you can request Pre-Marital Coaching before your marriage. Please contact the church at least six months in advance and also fill out the "Coaching Request" form using the button at the bottom of the page to initiate the process. We look forward to helping you prepare for the biggest day of your lives!

We meet at Equippers Church periodically for interactive marriage classes/discussions and prayer. Currently, we meet on the last Sunday of every month; onsite childcare is provided during these classes. Our group is made up of Christian couples from diverse backgrounds and ages. We hope to foster an atmosphere where we can learn from each other and encourage each other.

At Equippers Church, we endeavor to build godly relationships among members. These practical and helpful class offerings teach you how to properly care for and minister to one another. We do this by providing a safe environment for couples to improve their marriages.

All good marriages take effort, and wise couples will invest time and energy into growing their marriages. Equippers Church offers many resources to assist in the strengthening of marriages, such as free marital coaching and periodic Marriage Conferences with insightful information for couples. All it takes is a willingness on your part to put the time and energy into your marriage.

No matter what leads to the break-up of a marriage, Equippers Church wants to help people recover from the tragedy of divorce. A Divorce Recovery class will be offered periodically for those who need it, and we are always here to guide and support you.

As we grow and change, so do our marriages. A successful marriage doesn’t happen on its own, but it requires continued work, development, and investment. Sometimes marriages need additional support, and it’s wise to reach out for help. Equippers Church provides free coaching for any couple whose marriage is in crisis.

NAME, the National Association of Marriage Enhancement's mission is to SAVE and STRENGTHEN marriages. We believe marriage is very near to God's heart. Marriage was God's first institution; it was even established before the Church. As Christians, it is essential that we honor the Lord in our marriages and families. 

In addition to helping those who are already married, Equippers Church also encourages couples seeking to get married to participate in our premarital counseling program. You will be blessed!
